Clinical Research Course: From Idea to Publication

To address the nation’s challenges in research, the NIH developed a series of initiatives collectively known as the NIH Roadmap for Medical Research. As part of these initiatives, the Center of Excellence for Research in Infectious Diseases presents an annual Clinical Research Course to review the process of Clinical and Translational Research from generation of the research idea to publication of the study manuscript. Participants will acquire the skills necessary to critically evaluate the medical literature, and to develop and implement clinical studies.
