COVID-19 Impact on Kentucky Healthcare Workers
Principle Investigator: Julio Ramirez, MD
As COVID-19 has been a declared pandemic since March of 2020, the primary level of proliferation directly impacts Healthcare Workers and those whom are in contact. Although not much data concerning the long-term effects of COVID-19 can be provided at this beginning phase, the short-term effects continue to rise and put individuals at risk of serious illness. With awareness of these potentially fatal risks, developed interventions could be embedded to mitigate the health concerns that continue to surface. This is a multisystemic approach to assessing the potential physical and mental risks of those working in healthcare during the outbreak of COVID-19.
